 Below is a list of all who are scheduled to attend the tour of Attica Correctional Facility on Friday, Oct. 1 during the Northeast Region Meeting. If you have any questions or are listed and no longer plan to attend, please email Jill Stewart at [email protected]. This tour is now open to anyone, but there is limited space available. Please note: per CDC guidance, masks are required to enter the facility. Masks will be provided to anyone getting on the bus who does not already have one. Cell phones are not allowed into the facility. We recommend you either leave it on the bus or do not bring it with you.
The schedule for the day is as follows: Upon arriving at the facility the tour group will be broken into two groups, one led by the Superintendent, the second by the Deputy Commissioner for Correctional Facilities. The tour will include an initial meeting in the gym with a brief overview and then walking through the facility seeing various areas, including housing units, metal ship, mess hall, chapel, and Times Square.
